Delete your account

You can request deletion of your Beanie account and its data at any time, even if you've uninstalled the app. After you submit, we'll email the address you provide to confirm the request is really from you before deleting anything. Once you confirm, we process the deletion within 30 days.

What happens to your data

  • DeletedYour account record and profile (username, bio, photo, preferences)
  • DeletedJournal entries, brews, recipes, and tasting notes
  • DeletedFavorites and follows
  • AnonymizedReviews and ratings (kept without any link to you)
  • AnonymizedSearch history
  • UnlinkedCoffee bag photos and other content you uploaded (disassociated from your account)

What may be retained

  • Anonymized, non-identifying data (e.g. aggregate ratings with no link to you), used to keep the coffee database useful for others
  • Firebase authentication audit logs, kept for a short window for security, then purged
